The Akai MPC2500LE is designed for professional audio production, offers drum programming, sequencing, and sampling capabilities. Artists now have the luxury of producing music with a compact music composition center. The MPC2500LE has all the standard features of the regular production MPC2500. It is a 32—voice drum/phrase sampler with extensive editing control. Designed for professional music production environments and DJs and live club performers, the MPC2500LE features a time—tested user interface, responsive velocity— and pressure—sensitive pads, twin onboard effects processors, four Q—Link controllers (two sliders/two knobs) for extensive real—time control, plus 10 outputs and a S/PDIF digital output. 

The ultra—powerful Akai MPC2500 LE sports a 100,000 note/64 track MIDI sequencer that can be assigned to four separate MIDI outputs for a total of 64 independently addressable MIDI channels. Internal sounds reside in flash memory and can easily be swapped for new sounds via compact flash cards, hard drive, or CD—ROM drive. A CF card with preloaded sounds is included to get you started.
