They are a bit thicker and offer a rubberized coating.

IMPORTANT: They will also fit the MPC Renaissance , APC, MPK 24 , MPK 49 , MPD 24 , MPD 32 , MPD 26 or MPK 61 MPK 88 but they will stick up a bit more than the stock knobs.
